HERALDRY

Collaborations

Heraldry, founded by Dario Scaricamazza, collaborates with private clients and public institutions in the field of heraldry. Collaborations may involve research, consultancy, the identification and study of heraldic evidence, as well as its reconstruction and graphic representation. They may be undertaken either on a pro bono basis or as professional commissions. By way of example, collaborations with Spanish public institutions include:

University of Salamanca — General Historical Library

House if Villafranca
Identification of a heraldic supralibros of the House of Villafranca. Identification of a previously unidentified seventeenth-century heraldic supralibros found on a volume held by the General Historical Library of the University of Salamanca. The arms were identified as those of the Marquesses of Villafranca del Bierzo, combining the arms of Álvarez de Toledo and Osorio. The identification was accepted by the Library and incorporated into the corresponding catalogue record, which expressly acknowledges the contribution of Dario Scaricamazza and cites his study in the bibliography.
